The Cd's arrived on time~Tuesday evening and my son Christopher loved his. I was able to give my dad his today after we went out for supper and digested the disappointing news.

His cancer has spread to his spine, pelvic area and liver so the outlook is not good at this point. My dad is my rock and hero and I pray our lord will heal him.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for the rush order and beautiful job the two of you did in putting my Cd's together.

"I am not one of those people who complain about the inferior service we have all gotten way too use to, however when someone exceeds my expectations, I can't wait to tell others. That is the case with Erik and Kim of the Lullaby House.

My first experience with The Lullaby house was a few years ago when I was trying to decide how to propose to my wife to be, Michele. The two of us had been dating for quiet some time and although we had discussed marriage in great detail, we had never picked a date nor had I given her an engagement ring. Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I wanted this to be not only special, but something with my unique signature. After no telling how many hours of pursing the Internet for suggestions, I came upon The Lullaby House. After playing with the different demos on the site, I emailed with my dilemma and Kim quickly responded. We exchanged ideas....and the final scenario was this....I arranged with a Limo Service I use when I travel in Nashville to pick us up at a particular time....once inside the Limo a slide show with pictures of Michele and me began to play along with several love songs I had recorded (Karaoke type) ...then as the Limo winded it's way toward the river...the Song from The Lullaby House...recorded "ESPECIALLY" for Michele began to play....the song and the narration...were absolutely suburb. The tears began to flow as the song and narration described my feelings for Michele and how I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.
For a romantic like me, I can't tell you how GREAT this was. And for Michele, well on a scale of one to ten, it was off the scale. She was so moved and excited. The great thing? We can relive that moment at any time with the song on the CD provided by The Lullaby House.... Also the presentation of the lyrics and music was certainly a keepsake we will always cherish.
Kim, Erik and I spoke on several occasions to make sure everything was perfect for this song and presentation. They took extra time and effort and without their "special" attention, I have no doubt this would not have been the success it was.

Now Fast Forward a couple of years.

Recently (10 months ago) my Nephew, Bryan and his wife, Karol were blessed with the birth of an child, Abigayle. Abby is certainly a beautiful child and is loved and spoiled exactly like all little ones should. Abby was born in June 2006 and sometime after that... I was honored to be asked to keep her for a few hours. During the time I kept her... I was really taken aback by her innocence, her beauty and purity. Whenever she would began to get restless I would hum to her and it would sooth her and make her comfortable. I have never had and infant child of my own, but for a brief period of time, I sensed what a parent must sense when they have a child of their own an are faced with the joys of raising that child. As I continued to hum to little Abby, I couldn't fight back the tears of joy...and wanted to do something for her that she would never forget. As I continued humming I begin to make up words using her name and continuing to soothe her. The emotion of the moment inspired me to write a song...about the feelings I was having and I penned it to paper and didn't tell anyone.

Once I got home to my computer I didn't have to give it a second thought. I emailed Kim at The Lullaby house and told her of my epiphany and she immediately started with suggestions and ideas. My desire was to get Erik to put his unique voice to my lyrics along with dialogue (narration) and of course using his expertise of the just right musical instruments...... and I was filled with excitement. The two of them corresponded with me after I sent the lyrics with questions and suggestions. They constantly reinforced my ideas all the time adding just the perfect pitch change here or a new line there making certain each time I was totally satisfied. When Bryan, Karol and Abby came over for our Christmas Celebration... I played first the Lullaby written and preformed by Erik and Kim... and they loved it...but when Erik preformed the lyrics I had written that were personalized for Abby..they simply were moved beyond all my expectations. They Loved It. Imagine in a few years when Abby understands a little about music and realizes this song is about her....and selfishly speaking...she will always know how her Uncle Ray felt about her as it is etched for history. I know this could have been done in any studio, but I also know the love and feelings Kim and Erik felt for Abby came through in ever harmony of their voice and fret of the strings... It is their magic that made this occasion one all of us will never forget. Kim, Erik... your talents are obvious, but what may not be obvious, and the point I want visitors to your site to understand, is you really put your heart and soul into what you do and it shows in the final product. I would recommend you and your service to anyone who wants a superior product for a fair price with service above and beyond what is expected."
