Our personalized Memorial Blessing song was written to
honor and pay tribute to a lost loved one, as well as providing comfort
and solace to those left behind. The name of your departed loved one
is sung throughout the lyrics. It’s expressions of love, comfort
and spirituality can help with the healing process, and becomes a lasting
and tangible keepsake from the heart.
You can choose to have either a custom message ($5.00 extra) or a
non-custom one. In a custom message we use personal names. We record
the message unique to your order in our studio.
We
have several narrated poems & prayers to choose from
that we can narrate for you and add to your recording. Like the
lyrics in the song’s verses, the narrations can speak of
life after death and the promise of meeting again someday on the
other side. There are poems for the passing of young children,
as well as for older children and adults.
The CD comes in a photo-insert
case ready for you to slip in your favorite wallet-sized
photo upon receiving your order. Comes in either black or white
with gold foiling. The CD itself is metallic gold and we thermally
print the title using the full given name, dates of birth & passing,
and a “In Loving Memory From …” subtitle.
The decorative music manuscript in
its decorative matted folder is especially meaningful for the memorial
by including the departed loved one’s full name along with
their dates of birth and passing (music manuscript is optional). The
folder for the sheet music is gold foiled and comes in either black
or white to match your CD’s photo-insert case.
Something
to consider: We don’t always sing the deceased’s
first name in the song. It depends on who will be getting the CD.
If it’s a parent or grandparent that has passed, it may be
more meaningful to sing “Mom” (or “Dad”)
or “Grandpa” (or “Grandma”) in the song
since that is what they were called. However, if you plan on using
the song for the service itself then it’s best to sing the
first name so it reaches and applies to all who may attend.
About duplicates: Once we make
the original CD, we can make extra duplicate copies for just 12.00
a piece. This works well if you want each family member to have
their own printed gold CD and photo-insert case. Sheet music duplicates
with folder are also available for $10.00 a piece.
Write Your Own
Poem Or Message. This is especially meaningful if you yourself
have lost a loved one and want to express your thoughts and feelings
to the one departed. This can be extremely helpful in the grieving
process. We narrate the poem or message for you and it becomes
a part of the song’s recording. Or perhaps you have something
from the service that you want us to narrate – some scripture,
poem or prayer. We narrate the poem or message for you and it becomes
a part of the song’s recording.
We are aware that some may need this
Memorial Blessing Song right away so you can include it for the
viewing or the service itself. If you call or email us we can make arrangements to send the personalized
Memorial Blessing Song through email in a MP3 file format. This
could be sent directly to you, the funeral home or church; whoever
has best access to burning the CD on their computer. We would send
the “hard copy CD” & sheet music - (if Getting)
and any duplicates for other family member through the mail just
as soon as we can. For email inquiries: info@thelullabyhouse.com or call weekdays toll free: 888-920-0224.
Memorial Poems & Prayers

prayers and select the one that speaks to your heart. There is no

narrated on the CD that’s
fine too. It is optional. There is a place on the order form for
you to indicate the one you would like on your recording.
1. “To
Those I Love" Non-Custom Style – No Names – (Spoken
from the perspective of the one that has passed)
To all my family & friends:
Now that I am gone release me, let me go. I have so many things
to see and do. You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many beautiful years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess … how much you gave
me in happiness.
I thank you for the love that you have shown, but now it’s
time I traveled on alone.
So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must, then let your grief
be comforted by trust.
It’s only for a while that we must part, so bless the memories
within your heart.
I won’t be far away for life goes on, so if you need me
call and I will come.
Though you can’t see or touch me I’ll be near. And
if you listen with your heart you’ll hear …
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone.
I’ll greet you with a smile and say, “Welcome Home.”
2. To Those I Love – Custom Style
Here are some words of love and comfort from Donna in heaven for her
loving husband Ken, her children; Nicholas, Katie and Stephanie and
their families.
Now that I am gone release me, let me go ….. (Rest of message
same as #1 above)
3. “I’m
Free” (Adults) – Non-Custom Style
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following
the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call, I
turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day … to laugh, to love, to work
or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace
at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void then fill it with
remembered joy.
A
friendship started, a laugh, a kiss – Ah yes, these things
I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of
tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much – good friends,
good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief, don’t lengthen it now
with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me. God wanted
me now, he set me free.
4. “You
Were A Blessing To Us All” (For
Children) – Non-Custom Style
You were a blessing to us all, you were a special child.
And we’re
so glad God sent you to be with us for a while.
You filled our home
with happiness and made our life complete.
The time we had with you
was far too short, but oh so sweet.
Some things we don’t find easy to accept or understand …
Till we realize they’re part of our creator’s
plan.
Now it comforts us to know you’re with the angels up above.
While
in our hearts we hold you close surrounded always by your love.
And now that you’re in heaven we who are left behind
Must realize
God loves children, angels are hard to find.
5. “Psalm
23” – Non-Custom Style
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures
He leadeth me beside the still waters … He
restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his
name’s
sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will
fear no evil: for thou art with me.
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort
me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou
annointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and
mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
And I will dwell in the
house of the Lord forever.
6. “He
Takes Only The Best” (For
Those Lost To Illness Or Suffering) – Non-Custom Style
God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So he put
his arms around you and whispered, “come with me.”
In tears we watched you suffer, and saw you fade away.
Although we
loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A heart of gold stopped beating, and hard working hands now rest.
God
broke our hearts to prove to us, he takes only the best.
7. “Write Your Own Poem or Message”
For just $5.00 extra you can write your own original poem or message
and we will narrate it for you and add it to your recording. This
is a meaningful way for you to express your thoughts and feelings
about or to your lost loved one, and can help you in the grieving
process. You can also have us narrate a specific
poem or piece of scripture from the service that you might want
included on the recording. If you choose to write your own it needs to be about
the same length as those above (approx. 140 – 170 words). There’s
a place on the order form for you to write out your own poem or message.
Or, you can simply let us know on the order form that you’ll
be emailing it to us later so you have some time to compose your
thoughts and feelings.
